Macformat Magazine
Over the past few months I've been working on illustrations for Gary Marshall's 'One More Thing...' opinion pieces in Macformat magazine. They've been great fun to do, most of them involving working in Apple logos into the illustration somehow.
Keep On Running
Here's a book cover I worked on for the lovely Summersdale publishers last year. Keep on Running, the Highs & Lows of Marathon Addict by Phil Hewitt, check out Phil's blog here.
SHL
Here's a collaborative project I worked on last year with L&Co, YCN and a bunch of other illustrators. My illustration was used as part of a whole rebranding of employment company, SHL.
I also recently found out that L&Co received a distinction in this years Rebrand awards for the SHL project, check out the work here.

Cancer Research
Late last year I worked with CRUK and YCN on a redesign of the Cancer Research storefront volunteer boards. We wanted the volunteer board and cards to be inviting and look fun. We also felt the illustrations needed to have a personal and friendly feel, giving the sense of everyone working together towards a good cause.

The Good Times
Here's my illustration for The Church of London's one-off newspaper The Good Times. Distributed on Monday 16th January (supposedly, the most depressing day of the year), The Good Times was created to promote the brightest and most inspiring people and organisations.
My illustration accompanied an article about Peer to Peer Funding organisations.

Huck Magazine
I have an illustration in the latest edition of Huck Magazine accompanying a feature about Morgan Spurlock's film The Greatest Story Ever Sold. I worked with The Church of London again on this and they've used a lovely, shiny effect in parts, which I think works really well on the page.

Creative Review has a nice write up of how the recent Think Quarterly cover I was involved with was put together. You can read the article here.

2 to the Power 10 Postcard Exhibition
Here's my postcard for the 2 to the Power 10 postcard exhibition organised by the Orange Dot gallery in association with the British Postal Museum. I was sent a postcard to work on that was part of a larger design by Robbie's Brown Shoes, made up of 32 individual postcards.
Here's Robbie 's large image.
...and here's the re-assembled image. My wobble fellas bouncing all around inside the man's cranium.
Lastly, here's a sketchbook page with more bouncy wobble fellas.
Many thanks to Robbie and all the other artists involved. It was a excellent project to be involved with and the end result looked great.

Google Think Quarterly Cover Project
In August I was asked by YCN to take part in an exciting project with The Church of London to work on the cover for Google's quarterly magazine Think Quarterly. Myself along with 13 other illustrators were given the task of filling an absolutely enormous sheet of paper full of drawings which would then be divided up and used as 2,500 unique covers. For 2 days I had an absolute blast working with Church of London and the other illustrators on what was a fantastically collaborative experience.
Here's a short video that The Church of London produced showing how the project was put together.
Here's a list of the illustrators involved;
2 to the Power 10 Postcard Art Project
I have a wee postcard in this exhibition happening later this month at The Orange Dot Gallery. I will post a photo soon!

Raw5
Raw Studio recently celebrated their 5th birthday and to commemorate the occasion they asked over 70 designers and illustrators to create some birthday themed artwork. You can view and buy everyone's work here, with profits going to Wood Street Mission. My canvas is a greedy, cake gobbling party fella.

Two Sides Postcards
Earlier this year I was lucky enough to work with the good people at 300million on a set of postcards for Two Sides, a company promoting sustainability of the print and paper industry. It was a really nice project to work on and the postcards look great.
